Valentijn Hoff is a GIS Analyst at the National Center for Landscape Fire Analysis, College of Forestry and Conservation, University of Montana.
Valentijn grew up in The Netherlands. After moving to South Carolina and getting a BSc in Forest Resource Management from Clemson University he worked as a guide on various rivers in the Southeast, as a fire fighter for the USDA Forest Service, and in the GIS/IT department of Oconee County in South Carolina. Valentijn moved to Missoula in 2008 and he is excited to combine his knowledge of fire and GIS at the NCLFA.
