Fire Center students took part in the Prescribed Burning Practicum in Georgia, January 2008.

The NCLFA has been a program within The University of Montana's College of Forestry and Conservation since 2001. UM and the College of Forestry and Conservation are important partners in managing natural resources and working collaboratively with diverse interests. Within this context the NCLFA is well placed to provide opportunities for training, education, and outreach to both academic and non-academic audiences.
